The International Association of Infant Massage

This organisation was founded by Vimala McClure and has been established for over twenty years. She developed the baby massage routine taught by all certified instructors within the organisation, the strokes combine a mixture of Indian and Sweedish massage, reflexology and yoga.

Baby Massage as taught by the Associations representatives has endorsements from many respected professionals in the fields of clinical and perinatal psychology, neonatol care, occupational therapy and pediatrics. Research within these fields continues to find evidence supporting the many benefits of Infant Massage as taught by the IAIM. This includes research into additional benefits for premature babies, for post natal depression and babies with special needs.
